Camp Washington, OH
Located just six miles from Downtown Cincinnati, Camp Washington is a manufacturing area that is home to Kahn's Meats, the Andrew Jergens Company and also home to 1763 residents.
It was the site of muster and drill grounds of the First and Second regiments of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. Camp Washington Neighborhood Development Corporation is currently in the process of upgrading buildings and restoring some historical landmarks.
Queen City Metro services Camp Washington seven days a week to and from the downtown area with express service during peak periods. Camp Washington is just seconds from Interstate 75 and is a less than 10 minute drive to Downtown Cincinnati.
Children's Medical Center, Christ, University, Good Samaritan and Deaconess hospitals are all about five minutes away in Clifton, Corryville and Mt. Auburn.
Downtown shopping at Tower Place Mall and along Fountain Square is just minutes away.
Camp Washington Recreation Center has an outdoor pool, basketball court, workout room, soccer/football field, multi-purpose room, game room, arts and crafts room and programs for school-aged children. There are two parks within walking distance that have playgrounds, jungle gyms and more.
