Bethesda North Hospital is within the city limits and offers level III trauma services. Jewish Kenwood - Mercy Hospital is within a 10-minute drive. Other major Cincinnati hospitals are within a 25-minute drive south to the Clifton area: The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Children’s Hospital Medical Center and University Hospital.

Over 10,500 residents reside in Montgomery and in the heart of this historic town is a cluster of shops and business dwellings that retain much of the country charm of bygone days.  There are 32 recognized historic sites in Montgomery – including five that are part of the National Register of Historic Places. 

The area was founded in 1795 when people from the Village of Montgomery in New York settled there after making their way up the Little Miami Rover and Sycamore Creek. As the area grew it served as a stopping point along the “3-C” highway between Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland. By 1950 there were 500 residents. It became a city in 1971 with 5,000 citizens.

There are several hospitals serving the area. Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health  is conveniently located on Kenwood Road in Sycamore Township. This hospital features a state-of-the-art patient tower as well as a 24-hour emergency department. It is the region’s only adult Blood and Marrow Transplant Center. Bethesda North Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center, is located in the adjoining Montgomery area and is a short 10-minute drive away. Other Cincinnati area hospitals, such as The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, University Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Medical Center are located within a 20-minute drive.

Years ago, the land in this area had neatly tended arbors that produced the grapes for fine Cincinnati wines.

Kenwood Country Club is private and has two 18-hole golf courses. Daniel Drake Park has picnic grounds and a panoramic view of the scenic hills and valleys of Cincinnati. 

There are two private membership swim clubs: The Kenwood Swim Club and the swim and tennis clubs in Madeira. The Camargo Racquet Club in nearby Madeira offers six indoor tennis courts on a private membership basis. A racquetball facility is next door. 

The Kenwood Theatre is located along Kenwood Road.

The Kenwood Towne Centre offers over 1,000,000 square feet of shopping pleasure. This mall is occupied by 100 specialty stores, three large department stores (Nordstrom's, Macy’s and Dillard's) and various restaurants, making this one of the larger shopping facilities in the State of Ohio. The nearby Kenwood Collection building offers streetscape shopping at stores such as Crate and Barrel and The Container Store. Sycamore Plaza (aka Kenwood Square) has national brand stores including Dick’s Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Michael’s Crafts. Nearby Madeira offers local boutique-style shops. There are several restaurants to enjoy in Kenwood. Trio Bistro and Cooper Hawk are two popular places for a meal or drinks.

The Kenwood area is a suburban community of attractive houses on neatly landscaped lots. The many mature trees that have been preserved add to the charm of this neighborhood. Kenwood

Kenwood is within minutes of I-275, I-75 and I-71 which has direct access to the Kenwood area. Downtown Cincinnati is convenient to Kenwood, with approximate driving time of 15 minutes. The Cincinnati bus line serves Kenwood hourly, and includes more frequent stops during the rush hour.

It is about a 10-minute drive to Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health in Kenwood. Bethesda North Hospital is in nearby Montgomery. Other area hospitals, including Children’s Hospital Medical Center, The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and University are approximately 25-minutes away.

The single most-compelling quality of the nearly 20 square miles known as Indian Hill is its village atmosphere. With a population of around 5,900 people, it’s technically a city but its lifestyle over the years has remained constant, that of a residential community which preserves the country atmosphere and the gifts nature has bestowed upon it. Indian Hill’s history begins with the Indian Tribes of the Shawnee, Miami and Delaware who came to the area to hunt and fish. In 1787, Benjamin Stites (veteran of the Revolutionary War) visited the area and then persuaded John Symmes to purchase a million acres. Symmes sold Stites 10,000 acres adjacent to the Ohio and Little Miami Rivers for $.66 an acre. As years past settles came and the area evolved into a farming community and later into a rural weekend destination. In the 1920s, the Camargo Realty Company divided lots into 25-acre plots as a district of grand home estates. Today, Indian Hill is zoned single-family residential or agriculture.

Property known as the Village Green serves as a playground with four tennis courts, a basketball court and shelter house. A fishing lake behind the tennis courts is stocked periodically and, in winter, is used for ice skating. Three baseball diamonds support 300 kids in knothole baseball. There is a beautiful membership swimming club. The Camargo Country Club is private. The Indian Hill Winter Club offers its members an ice skating rink to enjoy, along with hockey leagues, social curling opportunities, paddle leagues as well as spinning bikes and classes. 

Seven garden clubs help beautify the community. The village maintains over 75 miles of bridle paths. Rowe Arboretum has a lovely collection of trees and shrubs to enjoy. There are 10 parks in the village offering walking paths, soccer fields, play areas, baseball diamonds an picnic areas.

Kenwood Towne Centre, offering 1,000,000 square feet of shopping pleasure, is only 5 minutes away. Madeira is located just outside of the village and has several local shops, restaurants and banks along Miami Road.

The village is governed by an elected council and professional manager. Indian Hill has its own water supply, and exceptional police and fire protection. Its recreational facilities are varied and well patronized. The community has its own service department for waste disposal and road maintenance.  Indian Hill supports the boy scouts, girl scouts, and numerous cultural and garden clubs. The village has always had a green thumb, and an affinity for open space. This is manifested in the Green Areas program, which through purchase and gifts, has created an almost unbroken arc of greenery around and throughout the village. As a place to live, Indian Hill offers the most in privacy, and boundless natural beauty.

Indian Hill is about 20 to 25 minutes driving time to downtown Cincinnati. Expressways I-71, I-75 and I-275 are not far with easy access to Ronald Reagan Highway. Public bus service terminates at the village limits.

There are several nearby hospitals serving Blue Ash. Bethesda North Hospital (a level III trauma center) is just minutes in Montgomery. The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health is also nearby in Kenwood. With 15-20 minutes are several other area hospitals including the renowned Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University Hospital, The Christ Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.

With a population of 12,000 Blue Ash is a vibrant Cincinnati city suburb. The area was established around 1791 and its name comes from the blue ash logs used by the first settlers. The Blue Ash of today is alive with development. Condos, single-family houses and beautiful industrial parks are all part of what is happening in this carefully planned area just twelve miles from downtown Cincinnati. It has been rated as top-50 community by Cincy Magazine. Blue Ash is represented by 50 Fortune 500 companies.

Blue Ash offers its residents the area’s most outstanding recreational services that include an 18-hole golf course with clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant. The amazingly low cost Blue Ash  Recreation Center has an outdoor Olympic-size pool, a large, award-winning children’s pool, four lighted tennis courts, two baseball/soccer fields. It also houses an extensive fitness center, gyms, and a climbing wall, and hosts many fitness and enrichment classes. The Rec Center is adjacent to Blue Ash Nature Park, with numerous large picnic shelters, several playground areas, an outdoor amphitheater, and nature trails. 

A YMCA is located in Blue Ash and is equipped with both indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor tennis courts and ball courts. 

Blue Ash has over 280 acres of park land and fields. Summit Park is located on the former site of the Blue Ash Airport. With 130 acres, this park offers an outstanding new playground walking/biking paths as well as natural areas for outdoor enjoyment. Whether visiting new restaurants there or enjoying a community event (such as Red, White and Blue Ash July 4th concerts and fireworks or Movie Night), a community exercise class, or a sports league, this park has something for everyone. SummitFest is a one-day country music festival held at the park in June. This area has new housing and businesses being built, developing a robust live-work-play lifestyle opportunity. 

The community has an annual parade on Memorial Day. Free summer concerts are offered several times a week during the summer at Blue Ash Nature Park and Blue Ash Towne Square. More concerts are also offered at numerous Summit Park events.

From bagels to a hamburger, chili or upscale dining, there are many local restaurants located in Blue Ash. For those near Downtown Blue Ash, there are specialty shops and cafes available for a quick bite or convenient shopping. During warmer months, the Blue Ash Farmer’s Market is available on Wednesdays at Summit Park. This park also offers a variety of indoor/outdoor restaurants and bistros. Target and Kohl’s are conveniently located, and Kroger is available for grocery shopping. Kenwood Towne Centre with about 100 stores of all sizes and varieties of products is located within 10 minutes of Blue Ash, and includes Macy’s and Nordstrom as anchor stores.

The availability of many contemporary new homes, combined with an ever-present possibility of rising values, makes it an ideal place to invest. One finds homes of all ages, styles and price ranges from modest-priced homes to luxury condos and houses. Blue Ash

It is a five-minute drive to Interstate 75 and I-275, less than that to I-71. The Ronald Reagan Highway is at the south edge of Blue Ash. Driving time to downtown Cincinnati is 20 minutes. Queen City Metro bus service connects Blue Ash with downtown Cincinnati.

Loveland Urgent Care is located on Loveland-Madeira Road. The Children’s Outpatient facility is within 10 minutes in Mason. Bethesda North TriHealth Hospital and Mercy Health Jewish Hospital are both 15 minutes from Loveland. Other Cincinnati hospitals located with 30-35 minutes include Christ , University, Good Samaritan and Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Loveland is located in the northeast corridor of greater Cincinnati, providing an attractive setting unique from other sprawling suburbs. Its 13,000 residents enjoy living in an area called the “Sweetheart of Ohio.” The Little Miami River Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Valentine mailing program throughout the year. Stamped letters sent to the chamber office are specially marked with the current design with the inscription reading, “There is nothing in the world so sweet as love.” Loveland has been ranked as a Top 5 Places to Live by Ohio Magazine and number 6 on the list of Top Small Cities to Live and Work by USA.com.

The Little Miami Bike Trail is very popular and follows along the scenic Little Miami River. There are several baseball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts, along with the various school facilities that afford play areas for children. The Loveland Youth organization is very active and offers a wide range of sport activities including baseball, softball, soccer, basketball and football for children starting as early as five years old. 

Nearby golf courses include the private O’Bannon Creek and Oasis Country Club, public Hickory Woods, Eagles Nest and Fair Acres courses. The Normandy Swim Club has a limited membership and there is year-round roller skating available in facilities located in Loveland. 

The iconic Loveland Castle & Museum Chateau Laroche welcomes more than 25,000 visitors each year. Downtown Loveland transforms into a Victorian village during the holiday season. In addition to this annual event, residents of Loveland also enjoy a yearly art show, Memorial Day Parade, Firecracker Festival, and Valentine Breakfast. 

Loveland has several parks: C. Roger Nisbet is located near the Miami Scenic Trail and is in the historic part of town and features an amphitheater. Phillips Park, East Loveland Nature Preserve and Veterans’ Memorial Park are three other parks to enjoy. 

For those who are into the arts, in addition to the many art studios located in Loveland, residents also attend live performances at the Loveland Stage Company. From dance classes to musical performances, there is something for all ages.

Over 100 retail businesses in Loveland serve all immediate needs for food, clothing and furniture. The only city in Ohio situated in three counties, Warren, Hamilton and Clermont, Loveland is located on the scenic Little Miami River, 16 miles north of Cincinnati. Loveland residents and businesses enjoy a quiet country setting, while still having easy access to Cincinnati’s wide range of resources. First settled in 1796, the Loveland area contained prosperous family farms until the arrival of the railroads in the 1840s which caused a village to grow up along the tracks. The history of Loveland still thrives with an historic district of businesses and residences highlighted by the beautiful bike trail along the National Scenic Little Miami River. Homes range from older, historic-style residences to newly built houses. There are houses of many styles and price ranges.

I-275 is approximately one mile from Loveland creating quick access to all parts of Cincinnati. I-71 is three miles from Loveland and connects to northeast and Downtown Cincinnati.

Miami Township Fire provides EMS services to the township. Bethesda North Hospital, a short 10-minute drive from the township, is now the fourth largest hospital in Cincinnati and only one of two adult trauma centers in the region. Mercy Hospital Anderson is 25 minutes to the east; Children’s Hospital Medical Center and other core Cincinnati hospitals are a 30-minute drive.

Many residents take some short of extracurricular learning opportunities at nearby Live Oaks Career School. Residents can enjoy the outdoors through the tennis courts, volleyball courts or horseshoe pits at the Community Park where the natural amphitheater hosts theatre and musical performances during the summer months. Because of its location on the scenic east fork of the Little Miami River, residents frequent the scenic bike/hike trail that intersects here at Riverview Park. Residents also enjoy Miami Meadows Park,  trails and canoe access at the Kelly Nature Preserve. The Long Branch Farm, a division of the Cincinnati Nature Center,  welcomes thousands of visitors each year to learn about livestock, sustainable farming, and see rare Ordovician fossils.

There are plenty of neighborhood shops in the many villages in Miami Township, with a plethora of eating and retail locations located along St. Rt. 28. A 15-minute drive will take homeowners to nearby Eastgate Mall or Kenwood Towne Center shopping malls.

Like many other townships surrounding the I-275 outer beltway surrounding Cincinnati, Clermont County’s Miami Township began changing from rural countryside as late as 1960, to today’s township exploding with growth. The growth is carefully planned and the area continues to be in high demand for homebuyers. The township’s easy access to Cincinnati’s amenities continues to draw homeowners of all incomes. Located in the northwestern corner of the county, Miami Township includes Day Heights, Mount Repose, Mulberry, Miamiville and parts of the cities of Loveland, and Milford. New housing developments seemingly spring up overnight in the township’s 33 square miles.  More than 36,000 residents call the land situated between the banks of the Little Miami and East Fork Rivers home.

Attractive estates, homes, townhouses, condominiums and growing retail and commercial areas now grace the hills of Symmes Township where wildlife once roamed the sycamore woods; where farmers worked the fertile soil near the Little Miami River;  and where industrious Germans founded mill villages.

'Symmes Township Park' has 3 picnic shelters, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, walking trails, a bark park and bird sanctuary. The 'Camp Dennison Nature Trail' has a half-mile hiking trail that is quite scenic. Beautiful 'Seven Gables Park' covers over 8 acres at the intersection of Seven Gables and Montgomery Road and has a picnic are, playground and walking trail. 'Home of the Brave Park' has 54 acres with soccer, and softball fields, a Veteran's memorial area as well as wet and dry playground areas.  'Stonebridge Park' features a ball field and playground. 'Blong Memorial Park' is a small park that memorializes those citizens killed by the April 1999 tornado. 'Meade Park' is located on Lebanon Road and is highlighted by the 1900s Greek-Revival House that is used by the Cincinnati Horticultural Society. You will also find a reconstructed log house in this park along with walking trails. 'The Little Miami Bike Trail' runs through the township and offers a great place to ride, run or walk. 'Kings Island Amusement Park' is nearby, as are golf courses, swimming clubs and much more. 

The Symmes Regional Branch Library is the largest branch in the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library System.

The largest retail shopping centers are Harper's Point and Governor's Plaza II. Harper's Station and the Fields Ertel corridor offer many exciting retail choices. Specialty shops, boutiques and large supermarkets also serve the area. The Kenwood Towne Centre is located within a 10-minute drive and features 180 specialty stores as well as Nordstrom, Macy's and Dilliard's department stores. Also nearby is The Kenwood Collection and Sycamore Plaza which feature national brand retail stores.

It's quite a change since the first pioneers came to this area in the 1790s, but a link remains between the first settlers and today's suburban dweller – an appreciation for open spaces, privacy and a less hectic life. Symmes Township bears the name of John Cleves Symmes whose purchase of the lands between the two Miami rivers (the Miami Purchase) in 1788 led to the founding of Cincinnati. The township itself was founded in 1824. Early residents were German and Scotch-Irish. 

Interstates I-71 and I-275 have opened up Symmes to increasing development. Homes are beautiful examples of today's architectural brilliance, gathered together in warm, friendly communities. And while industry and commercialism have ensured Symmes Township's growing prosperity and contemporary services, a sense of history still lives in some older buildings, villages and even in life-long residents.

Daniel Bates arrived in Madeira in 1787 and purchased land in 1804. From 1788-1794, John Cleves Symmes surveyed and sold land in Hamilton County including Madeira. In 1866 the railroad through Madeira was completed and the stop was called "John Madeira" after the local landowner and treasurer of the railroad. Today, the railroad station is a charming hallmark of Madeira reminding residents of its early village history.

There are three parks located in Madeira. Sellman Park features a baseball diamond and soccer field, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts along with a picnic grove. McDonald Commons Park is 17 acres and has baseball and soccer fields, playground area, tennis, batting cage,and a picnic shelter. The Nelle V. Hosbrook Bird Sanctuary is a great place to walk or hike with its two-acre wooded setting and trails. Madeira has an attractive membership swim club and the 36-hole, private Kenwood Country Club is a short drive away. There are several school playgrounds that accommodate an abundant outdoor sports program in season. Tennis may be enjoyed at many outdoor courts as well as the air-conditioned private Camargo Racquet Club and the Camargo Club on Shawnee Run Road. Next door to there is a handball and paddleball court. Madeira is known for its festive 4th of July parade and people line up their chairs early to get a good seat to watch. The community also offers several festivals along Miami Road in the heart of downtown Madeira throughout the year. Residents enjoy concerts in the park during warmer months.

There are excellent shopping facilities in Madeira for ordinary needs. There are branches of several major banks and many restaurants and local shops in the community. Also, five minutes away is Kenwood Towne Centre and Sycamore Plaza. Besides branches of Cincinnati’s three largest department stores, Nordstrom’s, Macy’s and Dillard’s, there are 100+ smaller shops and restaurants in these malls.

Madeira has merited quite a few “Best Ofs” throughout the years from Business Week, Cincy Magazine and US News and World Report. The community has many spirited citizens who work diligently to preserve a friendly neighborhood setting. One of the prime attractions to this neighborhood is the wide choice in housing including ranch styles, cape cods, colonials, contemporaries as well as newly constructed homes and lifestyle condos. The business district is a draw for shopping, coffee breaks and dining. Madeira is the perfect choice for those interested in the convenience of a suburban community that is located just 12 miles from Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati.

Madeira

Madeira is within minutes of the expressways and is also serviced by a city bus to the shopping centers and downtown Cincinnati. This area is readily accessible to I-71 and I-275 and the Ronald Reagan Highway. It is also within 15 minutes of the Millcreek Valley industries and I-75. Driving time to downtown Cincinnati is 15 minutes.

Residents enjoy many parks in Montomery, including: Dulles Park, Johnson Nature Preserve, Montgomery Park, Pfeiffer Park, Pioneer Park, Swaim Park, Triangle Point Plaza and Weller Park. The community’s park system has over 96 acres of protected green space and they are all connected by over 10 miles of bike paths and sidewalks. 

There are many youth recreational programs to enjoy in Montgomery. It has a community pool to cool off in during warmer months. The Recreation Annex Building has fitness equipment and classes for all ages. The Club at Harper’s Point is one of the finest tennis facilities in the country with 12 outdoor courts and 10 indoor courts. Five Seasons also offers outdoor and indoor tennis courts as  well as an outdoor pool and various group health classes. 

The area is surrounded by daily fee and private golf courses within 10 minutes driving time, including Kenwood Country Club, private with 36 holes, and Sharon Woods and Blue Ash Golf Course, both public, with 18 holes. 

There is a nationally recognized Women’s Club, art shows and garden clubs in Montgomery. The community hosts several annual events: Independence Day Parade and Festival, Bastille Day Summer Street Festival, Montgomery Car Show, Harvest Moon and Holiday in the Village. The city also enjoys concerts from the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra throughout the year.

Shops along Montgomery Road in Old Montgomery and the Montgomery Square Center conveniently serve the city. Tree-lined and brick-paved sidewalks (with potted flowers during warmer months) add to the charm of  “downtown” Montgomery, making a coffee run, shopping or running a quick errand an enjoyable thing to do. Many fine restaurants are located in the city including the iconic Montgomery Inn and Jeff Ruby’s Carlo and Johnny. 

Just 10 minutes away from Montgomery is one of the area’s largest shopping centers, Kenwood Towne Centre, with three department stores (Nordstrom Macy’s and Dilliards), 100 shops, and many restaurants to serve all tastes.Sycamore Plaza (aka Kenwood Square) and The Kenwood Collection are also nearby with even more stores and restaurants.

The spirit of Montgomery is anything but old-fashioned. Montgomery has enjoyed being consistently rated as one of the top communities for the Cincinnati area. 

Single-family homes, townhouses, condos and apartments of almost every design are found there. Many homes in the neighborhood are new, having replaced older residences. Because strict zoning requirements have maintained a spacious wooded environment, the area has a lovely suburban atmosphere. Montgomery

Four expressway interchanges within easy access are I-71, I-75, I-275 and the Ronald Reagan Highway. Driving time to Downtown Cincinnati is approximately 20 minutes. US22/Ohio3 bisects Montgomery and is the main street through the city. Cincinnati Metro bus transportation serves the city with convenient time schedules.
