Kenwood is within minutes of I-275, I-75 and I-71 which has direct access to the Kenwood area. Downtown Cincinnati is convenient to Kenwood, with approximate driving time of 15 minutes. The Cincinnati bus line serves Kenwood hourly, and includes more frequent stops during the rush hour.
There are several hospitals serving the area. Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health is conveniently located on Kenwood Road in Sycamore Township. This hospital features a state-of-the-art patient tower as well as a 24-hour emergency department. It is the region’s only adult Blood and Marrow Transplant Center. Bethesda North Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center, is located in the adjoining Montgomery area and is a short 10-minute drive away. Other Cincinnati area hospitals, such as The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, University Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Medical Center are located within a 20-minute drive.
The Kenwood Towne Centre offers over 1,000,000 square feet of shopping pleasure. This mall is occupied by 100 specialty stores, three large department stores (Nordstrom's, Macy’s and Dillard's) and various restaurants, making this one of the larger shopping facilities in the State of Ohio. The nearby Kenwood Collection building offers streetscape shopping at stores such as Crate and Barrel and The Container Store. Sycamore Plaza (aka Kenwood Square) has national brand stores including Dick’s Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Michael’s Crafts. Nearby Madeira offers local boutique-style shops. There are several restaurants to enjoy in Kenwood. Trio Bistro and Cooper Hawk are two popular places for a meal or drinks.
Kenwood Country Club is private and has two 18-hole golf courses. Daniel Drake Park has picnic grounds and a panoramic view of the scenic hills and valleys of Cincinnati.
There are two private membership swim clubs: The Kenwood Swim Club and the swim and tennis clubs in Madeira. The Camargo Racquet Club in nearby Madeira offers six indoor tennis courts on a private membership basis. A racquetball facility is next door.
The Kenwood Theatre is located along Kenwood Road.
