Williamsburg Township

Mercy Medical is located on SR32 in Mt. Orab. Sardinia Family Medicine is run by Mercy Health and is located in the village.

The village of Sardinia is located in both Brown and Highland counties. It has a population of 980 residents. Its name is from the island located in the Mediterranean Sea. Sardinia was established by pioneers in the early 19th century and was originally called “Lilly Post Office” (named after the first post master.) Its first tavern sheltered escaped slaves who were heading to Canada. A marker commemorates the site of the Underground Railroad.

The local school system offers many sports programs for young athletes. Lake Waynoka offers boating and fishing.

There are local shops and restaurants located in Sardinia, including a diner, hardware store and drugstore.  More shopping opportunities are available in Georgetown, Hillsboro or Cincinnati.

A rural area you will find modest priced homes along with moderately priced residences along the Lake Waynoka. Many homes are located on acreage.

Sardinia

Interstate 275 is the closest highway to Sardinia. The village is located off SR 32.

The nearest hospital is Clermont Mercy Hospital, approximately 10 minutes away and just outside of Batavia; Brown County Hospital is 15 miles away to the east.

East Fork State Park is just five minutes away from Bethel. It features a beautiful man-made lake and offers camping, picnicking, boating, swimming, horse trails and shelters that can be reserved for large parties. Burke Park is in the village of Bethel and has playground equipment, a shelter house and two cabins that are open for community events.

There is a small strip mall in Bethel, neighboring Georgetown has small strip malls, and it's a quick 15 minute drive to Cincinnati's Eastgate Mall and surrounding shopping district on State Route 32.

If you're looking for a residence in a community with a laid-back, away from the hustle and bustle feeling, check out Bethel. The outskirts of Bethel are rich with farming tradition. A great town with its own sense of pride and togetherness, Bethel was founded in 1798 by Obed Denham, the same man who founded the Bethel Baptist Church.

Bethel

Bethel is just 30 minutes from Downtown Cincinnati. It is approximately a 10 minute drive to the town of Amelia, the nearest stop made by Queen City Metro, Cincinnati's public bus system. There are numerous state routes that can be taken out of Bethel to connect with Greater Cincinnati's interstate highway system.

Grant Lake Wildlife Area is located in Mt. Orab and features fishing, boating and hiking. Stonelick State Park in Goshen offers hiking and biking trails as well as water sports and fishing.

Mt. Orab offers a few local stores including a large Kroger Marketplace.  A drive to Batavia or Eastgate offers more shopping opportunities. Eastgate Mall has a Sears, Penney’s, Dillard’s and 90 smaller shops and restaurants. This spacious mall is located in the heart of Eastgate. Other shopping facilities include Biggs Place Mall, Eastgate Square, Eastgate Village Shops and Eastgate Crossing.

You will find modest priced houses as well as moderately priced residences in this rural area. Many homes are located on acreage.

Pike Township

State Route 68 bisects Pike Township and State Route 32 runs very close to the township. The closest highway is Interstate 275.
