Several Northern Kentucky hospitals and their branches are within a few minutes driving. The Crescent Springs Volunteer Fire provides EMS service to the area.

In the early 1800s, Revolutionary War veterans began carving farms out of the Northern Kentucky wilderness. By the 1890’s Crescent Springs became one of the many unscheduled train stops along the Cincinnati Southern Line that ran from Ludlow to Somerset. More passengers were choosing to live ‘out in the country’ so a railroad depot was built at the ‘Y’ intersection where Western Reserve meets Crescent Springs-Erlanger Road.

Northern Kentucky

Villa Hills is within minutes of St. Elizabeth Medical Center and St. Elizabeth West. Other major hospitals are within easy driving distance. Children's Hospital	is located in Cincinnati.

Villa Hills is a vibrant suburban community of 7,500 residents and was named the number one suburb by Cincy Magazine in 2014 and the seventh best suburb in the USA that same year. Its roots go back to 1785 when the area was settled by Robert McKay as payment for service in the Revolutionary War. The area was originally called Madonna Acres and Ludlow and for many years was unincorporated farmland. In the early 1960s, people started building homes and the area incorporated itself as a city.

Golf and tennis enthusiasts are 10 minutes away from Kenton County Golf Course, which offers a 27-hole golf course and tennis courts that are open to the public. Two private membership country clubs are nearby. Also, indoor tennis is within easy access. Boaters will find excellent marinas on both sides of the Ohio River. 

'Harry Rigney Park' has 27-acres and offers fields for baseball, soccer and softball. Other parks include 'Franzen Fields' and 'City-Civic Park' which is adjacent to Franzen Fields. 

Also available nearby are ice skating, bowling lanes, cinemas, roller rinks and fine restaurants. Villa Hills has close proximity to the Crescent Springs Recreation Park which offers a private picnic area, horse shoes, basketball, swings, play equipment, walking trails and soccer fields.

Major shopping centers nearby include Buttermilk Town Center and the Crestview Hills Town Center. Due to the city’s location, stores in downtown Cincinnati and other Cincinnati shopping areas are very accessible.

Because of its convenient location and lovely terrain, this city has enjoyed a surge of growth in residential properties during recent years. The mixture of houses and condominiums comes in an appealing variety of traditional and contemporary styles. The price and size of Villa Hills properties is just as varied as the architecture. One estate type subdivision offers large luxurious homes up to the million dollar plus range. All neighborhoods are well maintained and attractive. Some offer stunning Ohio river views. Villa Hills residents are united in pride and enthusiasm for their lovely community.

Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky provides service to this community. I-75 is conveniently located five minutes away. Downtown is about 15 minutes driving time and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is a 10-15 minute drive.

St. Elizabeth and St. Elizabeth West hospitals are both within 10 minutes. The University of Cincinnati Medical Center is a 20 minute drive. Children's Hospital is located in Cincinnati.

Fort Mitchell is an appealing city, well known for its lovely homes, tree-lined streets, and strong community spirit. There are 8, 200 residents. Historically, Fort Mitchell was the site of a Civil War fortification built to defend the area. The city was named for Ormsby M. Mitchel, who designed the fortifications.

Fort Mitchell Country Club features a golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool. The Beechwood Swim Club is private and located within the city. A public golf course is located nearby. 

A community highlight is the Vent Haven Museum, the world’s only museum dedicated to ventriloquism with memorabilia including 700 dolls and objects. 

The Highland Cemetery has 250 acres of land dedicated to wildlife, many of which are used as nature trails. This beautiful final resting place has many prominent and historical people buried there. 

There are three parks in Fort Mitchell. Iris Road Park is small and offers a basketball court as well as lovely green spaces. Crescent Park has a play area and basketball court. The General Ormsby Mitchel Park features a large play area, picnic space, baseball and soccer fields as well as basketball, volley ball and tennis courts.

Fort Mitchell shopping area serves daily needs. Major shopping areas in downtown Cincinnati, Covington, Crestview Hills Town Center,	Buttermilk Towne Center, and Florence Mall can be reached within 15 minutes.

One of the oldest suburbs in the area, it remains today one of the most desirable. People of all ages enjoy the gracious friendly ambiance. Properties in Fort Mitchell vary in age, and include large newer homes in well designed subdivisions, as well as fine older homes on beautifully landscaped lots.

Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (T.A.N.K.) buses serve the Ft. Mitchell area. Via I-75, driving time to downtown Cincinnati is 5-10 minutes, 15 minutes to Florence Industrial Park, and 15 minutes to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

The hospitals are St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, St. Elizabeth West, St. Elizabeth East and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  Children’s Hospital Outpatient Northern Kentucky is located in nearby Crestview Hills and its main campus is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This small, desirable community has long been known as one of Northern Kentucky’s premier neighborhoods. It was established as a town in 1930 and is a Northern Kentucky “garden spot”. Lakeside Park is primarily residential with 2,700 residents and only three business sites.

Lakeside Park is close to private Kenton County swim clubs and country clubs, public golf courses and parks. The private Five Seasons Country Club offers indoor/outdoor tennis and swimming, as well as an indoor/outdoor jogging and fitness track. The community hosts events at nearby Ft. Mitchell Park as well as the City Building.

The Crestview Hills Town Center is located in this area. A 10-15 minute drive will place you in the major shopping areas of Cincinnati or the Florence Mall.

As the name suggests, there are many lakes in the area, and homes have been built to take advantage of the views. Through the years Lakeside Park has experienced growth, but has retained its strictly residential character and park-like look. Classic older neighborhoods with winding tree lined streets open to newer areas with large brick homes on well landscaped spacious lots. The rich, natural loveliness that abounds here makes Lakeside Park the ultimate in gracious living.

T.A.N.K. serves the area, and quick access to I-75 takes you downtown in 10-15 minutes. I-275 allows quick access to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to the west, and Anderson, Ohio to the east.

The center of recreational activities, Crescent Springs Memorial Park at Buttermilk Pike and Collins Road, includes more than a mile of trails, several play areas, the only free-standing swinging bridge in Northern Kentucky as well as a Veterans and 9/11 memorials. Nearby riverfront access allows boaters and fishing enthusiasts easy access to the Ohio River. Numerous festivals and outdoor events summer and fall weekends provide an endless supply of outdoor activities in nearby Cincinnati, Covington and Newport riverfronts. Crescent Springs hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt, movie night, Fun Fest, Music Fest, a Halloween event as well as Christmas in the Park.

Buttermilk Towne Center offers many selections for daily shopping needs; Florence Mall is a mere 10 minutes away, depending on traffic. Cincinnati and additional shopping malls offer more extensive shopping within a 15-minute drive. The Field and Stream outdoor sports store is a short drive.

Located in north-central Kenton County, the city of Crescent Springs wasn’t established until 1957, although residents had been calling the city Crescent Springs. The most popular theory for the city’s name was the crescent shape the railroad tracks made as the train passed through town. Primarily a sleepy farming area, the completion of I-75 through the area in the 1970s drove expansion to its present population of 3900 over the city’s 1.4 square miles. Progress continues to drive the busy city located just a few minutes from downtown Cincinnati and the busy riverfront. Some of the area’s last farm acreages are being developed into new residential areas.

Crescent Springs

Busy Buttermilk Pike is the primary access road through Crescent Springs. Less than five minutes from downtown Cincinnati off easily accessible I75, it’s easy to get around in Crescent Springs. The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) provides bus service through the region, and into downtown Cincinnati. Greater Cincinnati International Airport is a close 14 miles.
