June Home Sales Report (2024)

Here are the latest statistics for residential real estate in Cincinnati, Southeastern Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Springfield.

Throughout the region, home prices remained strong in June even as inventory increased, creating more opportunities for buyers and sellers alike. Here is a report by region of home sales during June of 2024:

Cincinnati/Southeast Indiana

June 2024 vs June 2023

  • -12.3% decrease in homes sold (1620)

  • 3.7% increase in median sale price ($310,000)

  • -11% decrease in sales volume ($599,497,607)

  • 27.8% increase in active inventory (1895 listings)

  • 3.4% increase in new listings (2254 new listings)

  • 0% increase in median days on market (3 days)

January-June 2024 vs. January-June 2023

  • 0.7% increase in homes sold (8492 vs. 8437)

  • 6.2% increase in median sale price ($292,000 vs. $275,000)

  • 6.7% increase in sales volume ($2,992,200,595 vs. $2,805,528,475)

Northern Kentucky

  • -15% decrease in homes sold (507 homes vs 598 homes)

  • 4% increase in median sale price ($287,000 vs $275,000)

  • -8% decrease in sales volume ($169,000,000 vs $184,500,000)

  • 11% increase in active inventory (973 vs 787)

  • -8% decrease in new listings (673 vs 732)

  • 53% decrease in average days on the market (29 vs 19)
