Here are the latest statistics for residential real estate in Cincinnati, Southeastern Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Springfield.

The region's housing market continues to show resilience and growth. This month there was a significant increase in new listings year over year which indicates there are increased opportunities for buyers in 2024 compared to last year at this time. Median home prices continue to increase as well, so it's still a great time to sell your home. Here is a report by region of home sales during February of 2024:

Cincinnati/Southeast Indiana

February 2024 vs February 2023

  • 3.7% increase in homes sold (1076)

  • 12.4% increase in median sale price ($284,450)

  • 9.5% increase in sales volume ($359,632,403)

  • 21.6% increase in active inventory (1414 listings)

  • 13.5% increase in new listings (1473 new listings)

  • 25% increase in median days on market (5 days)

January-February 2024 vs. January-February 2023

  • -1.7% decrease in homes sold (1940 vs. 1973)

  • 9.8% increase in median sale price ($272,250 vs. $248,000)

  • 5.5% increase in sales volume ($630,865,768 vs. $592,238,154)

Northern Kentucky

February 2024 vs February 2023

  • -1% decrease in homes sold (398 homes vs 404 homes)

  • 10% increase in median sale price ($270,500 vs $245,000)

  • 9% increase in sales volume ($122,200,000 vs $111,900,000)

  • 11% increase in active inventory (787 vs 706)

  • 32% increase in new listings (604 vs 456)

  • 0% increase in average days on the market (39 vs 39)

  • 23.7% increase in homes sold (1096 vs 886 homes)

  • 15.38% increase in median sale price ($225,000 vs $195,000)

  • 41.56% increase in sales volume ($287,809,897 vs $203,310,940)

  • 23.98% increase in new listings (1251 vs 1009)

January-February 2024 vs January-February 2023

  • 24.02% increase in homes sold (1993 vs 1607)

  • 14.32% increase in median sale price ($219,000 vs 191,575)
