Cincinnati’s major hospitals (including Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University Hospital, TriHealth Bethesda North, TriHealth Good Samaritan and The Christ Hospital) are located within a 45-minute drive from Amelia.

Amelia features a Kroger Marketplace for convenient shopping. There are also a few local stores in town for daily needs. Major shopping is not more than a 15-minute drive to Eastgate Square, Eastgate Mall Crossing (Ashley Furniture), Villages of Eastgate Square and Jungle Jim’s International Market. Eastgate Mall offers three major department stores, several discount stores and some 90 other shops, restaurants and services. Anderson Township Towne Center is also a 20-minute drive and offers shopping and may restaurants.

Fork Reservoir, the scenic East Fork River and nearby Ohio River hold appeal for fishermen, boaters, swimmers and campers. Artists can visit the picturesque Nature Preserve and Stonelick Valley with their easels. A YMCA is in nearby Batavia.
