There are numerous state routes that can be taken out of Bethel to connect with Greater Cincinnati's interstate highway system.
The nearest hospital is Clermont Mercy Hospital, approximately 10 minutes away and just outside of Batavia; Brown County Hospital is 15 miles away to the east.
There is a small strip mall in Bethel, neighboring Georgetown has small strip malls, and it's a quick 15 minute drive to Cincinnati's Eastgate Mall and surrounding shopping district on State Route 32.
East Fork State Park is just five minutes away from Bethel. It features a beautiful man-made lake and offers camping, picnicking, boating, swimming, horse trails and shelters that can be reserved for large parties. Burke Park is in the village of Bethel and has playground equipment, a shelter house and two cabins that are open for community events.
