The village of Lewisburg is located in Preble County and was founded in 1818 and named after Lewisburg, Virginia. This village includes two prior villages – the original Lewisburg nad Ephemia – which merged in 1916. The popular is 1,800 residents.


From old to new homes, there are many styles and prices of homes available in Lewisburg, including many with acreage.


Lewisburg Township is located near route 503 and 40. The closest interstates are I-70 and I-75. The closest state routes are 127 and 35.


Preble County has access to 21 area major hospitals and healthcare providers within a 20-minute drive. The Preble County Health Center (part of the Kettering Health Network) is located in Eaton. Dayton Children’s Hospital is located to the south.


There are quite a few shops and restaurants in town and many more choices with 6-14 miles. Trotwood Main Shopping Center is 13 miles away.


The community offers many yearly events including Christmas Lights in the Park, Movies at the Park, chili cook offs, Lewis burg Garden Walk, Steak and Pokr Chop Fry and Acution as well as an Octover Festival and Christmas Tour of Homes.
