Withamsville is a largely commercial area whose identity is greatly influenced by State Route 125, known locally as Beechmont Avenue, which runs through its midst.
Located east of I-275 in Union Township, Withamsville borders the communities of Summerside, Glen Este, Willowville, Karentown, Cherry Grove and Mt. Carmel. Its 4000 residents live in homes of varied architecture, including a number of brick Cape Cods amd smaller ranch style houses. Easy access to downtown and the airport via I-275, a major mall, a strong school district, a nationally accredited fire department and other safety services make Withamsville attractive.
Convenient I-275 is within minutes of Withamsville, creating a driving time of 20 minutes to Downtown Cincinnati and 25 minutes to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. In addition, Queen City Metro buses run on State Route 125.
There are many doctors' offices in Withamsville. Mercy Hospital Anderson is only eight miles away.
State Route 125 (Beechmont Avenue) offers a vast array of shops, including a number of strip malls, shopping centers, grocery stores and car dealerships. Eastgate Mall is just minutes away.
Withamsville-Tobasco ("W-T") Park provides baseball, soccer and footballs fields, as well as a league sports system. The Royal Oak Country Club in Pierce Township and the Vineyard both offer golf courses. The beach and lauching ramps of East Fork Lake are only 10 miles from Withamsville.
