The I-275 Ohio River Bridge and I-471 provide rapid access to downtown Cincinnati. The Cincinnati /Northern Kentucky International Airport is only 30 minutes from Eastgate.
Mercy Health - Clermont Hospital in Batavia is an acute care facility with a new emergency room, a complete intensive care unit and outpatient services. Anderson Mercy Hospital is 25 minutes from Batavia, and Cincinnati's major hospital complex is within 30 minutes of Eastgate.
Eastgate Mall offers numerous shopping and dining opportunities with Sears, Penney's, Dillard's and 90 smaller shops and restaurants. This spacious mall is located in the heart of Eastgate. Biggs Place Mall, Eastgate Square, Eastgate Village Shops and Eastgate Crossing across the street from Eastgate Mall, provides a tremendous selection of shopping conveniences. Wal-Mart and a variety of other specialty businesses are also located in the area.
Nature lovers can visit the Cincinnati Nature Center in Eastgate or the picturesque Stonelick Valley near Batavia. These provide fun-filled and educational facilities. The new Clermont YMCA has indoor/outdoor pools and outdoor tennis courts. There is also a private swim club offering swimming and tennis. East Fork State Park provides opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, camping, backpacking and horseback riding. The park is situated on 10,500 acres of rolling woods. The lake is the site of the Cincinnati Sculling Regata and olympic trials for rowing. Two private country clubs offering swimming, tennis courts and 18 hole golf courses are within a ten minute drive.
