Here are the latest statistics for residential real estate in Cincinnati, Southeastern Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Springfield.

The region's housing market continues to show resilience and growth. We're seeing increases in new listings and active inventory across the region, creating more opportunities for buyers. Median home prices continue to increase as well, so it's still a great time to sell your home. Here is a report by region of home sales during March of 2024:

Cincinnati/Southeast Indiana

March 2024 vs March 2023

  • 7.5% decrease in homes sold (1401)

  • 14.8% increase in median sale price ($295,000)

  • 3.3% increase in sales volume ($484,410,000)

  • 13.4% increase in active inventory (1439 listings)

  • 1.8% decrease in new listings (1842 new listings)

  • 0% increase in median days on market (3 days)

January-March 2024 vs. January-March 2023

  • -3.5% decrease in homes sold (3364 vs. 3487)

  • 12% increase in median sale price ($279,950 vs. $250,000)

  • 5.4% increase in sales volume ($1,112,000,000 vs. $1,070,000,000)

Northern Kentucky

March 2024 vs March 2023

  • 1% decrease in homes sold (507 homes vs 514 homes)

  • 6% increase in median sale price ($277,921 vs $262,250)

  • 3% increase in sales volume ($160,900,000 vs $156,500,000)

  • 14% increase in active inventory (788 vs 693)

  • 11% decrease in new listings (629 vs 710)

  • 6% decrease in average days on the market (34 vs 36)

  • 5.46% increase in homes sold (1197 vs 1135 homes)

  • 13.17% increase in median sale price ($232,000 vs $205,000)

  • 19.32% increase in sales volume ($333,928,856 vs $279,850,529)

  • .63% increase in new listings (1432 vs 1423)

  • 14.40% increase in homes sold (2805 vs 2805)
