"Veteran’s Memorial Park" features a memorial area as well as a picnic shelter.
The city hosts several events throughout the year: Bluegrass Festival and Flag-Raising ceremony and community Labor Day picnic in September; KidsFest in June; and a tree-lighting ceremony and Santa-on-a-firetruck in December. Wilder also has an annual Christmas Home Decorating Contest.
