Wilder was named for a Covington doctor. Wilder's Licking River frontage is home to the Northern Kentucky Port Authority. Wilder's recent growth has been due to the popularity of condominium communities as well as upscale single family homes with Cincinnati skyline views.
TANK provides the public transportation to and from the area. US 27 and I-471 connect Wilder with Cincinnati and surrounding cities.
