Farmersville's aptly chosen name reflects the rural character the town has to offer.


Ten minutes southwest of Dayton in Montgomery County, residents of this rural farming community originally shared the local farms with the Shawnee Indians. 2000 residents live in a variety of properties ranging from small homes in the earliest settled areas to newer frame construction along Center Street in the downtown central district.
