Named for Alexander Hamilton, and was one of the four original townships in the county, created in May 1803. It was been a top-50 rated community by Cincy Magazine.
Hamilton Township has over 600 acres of parks. One of the busiest places in the township is Testerman Park, used by baseball, soccer, football teams on its 23 acres. This park features four shelters for picnics as well as walking trails. Marr Park is a former 123-acre farm that now offers 13 soccer fields.
