Liberty Township is located in the east-central portion of Butler County and is part of the fast-growing Cincinnati-Dayton region with 37,000+ residents. Cincinnati is 20 miles to the south and Dayton is 25 miles to the north. All types of homes are available including starter-priced homes as well as mid-sized and larger homes. Liberty Township sits on both sides of I-75, and is 25 miles south of Dayton and 20 miles north of Cincinnati. It is a short drive to I-275. State Route 4 passes through Liberty Township, giving access to the neighboring towns of Hamilton and Middletown. Highway 129, also known as the Hamilton Connector, runs through the township and creates easy access for all residents to I-75.

Hospitals serving the area include the West Chester Hospital (UC Health) located on University Drive off Tylersville Road. This is a Level 3 Trauma Center. Located nearby is the world-renowned Children's Hospital Medical Center Liberty Campus. The Christ Hospital Medical Center/Liberty Township is located on Cox Road. The Premier Health Atrium Medical Center is located in Warren County a quarter mile east of 1-75 at SR 122. Bethesda North (a trauma III center) is located 15 minutes away in Montgomery. Cincinnati-area hospitals, such as University, Christ and the main Children's Hospital Medical Center are approximately 20 miles to the south of Liberty Township.

Liberty Center is a premier shopping and dining destination located on 64 acres with over 60 shops, restaurants and entertainment including a 200,000 square foot Dillard’s and anchor tenant Dick’s Sporting Goods. It is located at the junction of Liberty Way Interchange at I-75 and I-129. Across the street from Liberty Center, Cabela’s has opened its second Ohio location. The 80,000 square foot retail showroom is geared toward sporting and hunting enthusiasts. For those who enjoy outlet-style shopping, the Cincinnati Premium Outlet is just a short 10-minute drive north in Monroe. Liberty Township is located within 15 minutes of several shopping centers.

Take the Union Centre exit off of I-75 in nearby West Chester Township and you will find many places to shop. On the west side of the highway, IKEA has over 344,000 square feet of Swedish home furnishings. The Frontgate Outlet and Ballard Designs Outlet have many home-furnishing options. On the east side of Union Centre Boulevard, there is a Barnes & Noble bookstore, RAVE theater as well as many other shops located in the Streets of Chester. Duluth Trading Company features innovative clothing as well as tools and speciality gear.

Nearby Deerfield Towne Center is located in Mason and features many national stores and restaurants. Bridgewater Falls in Fairfield Township is also close by with many stores and places to eat. Kenwood Towne Centre is a 15-minutes drive and offers Nordstrom, Macy’s and Dillard’s along with over 100 nationally known shops. For those who are foodies, you can head into nearby Fairfield to the Jungle Jim’s International Market and purchase just about anything – there’s 6.5 acres of food!

There are two public golf courses near Liberty Township: Green Crest and Pleasant Hill. Want to practice your swing? Head to Topgolf in West Chester Township. This facility offers over 100 climate-controlled hitting bays as well as a restaurant and bar service. Many enjoy relaxing at the rooftop terrace after practicing.

Liberty Township has a YMCA and a youth sports league. The community sponsors four events each year: an Easter egg hunt, Fourth of July parade, Fall Festival and a Breakfast with Santa.

Liberty Township is home to 11 parks with 273 acres: Allen Park, Cherokee Park, Dudley Park, Dudley Memorial Woods, Liberty Park, the Reserves of Liberty, Fort Liberty Playland, Maud Hughes Incline, Mill Creek Preserve, Wilhelmina and the Wetlands Park. They offer hiking and biking trails, fishing, playgrounds and picnic shelters. Voice of America Park in nearby West Chester has six miles of walking trails and a dog park.

Paramount’s Kings Island is a 10-minute drive and features amusement park fun.

For arts enthusiasts, Butler County offers many options. The Middletown Arts Center has live theater events. The Fairfield Community Arts Center and Oxford Community Arts Center host all kinds of performances throughout the year. The Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra and West Chester Symphony Orchestra offer free classical concerts.
