Access to I-75 is 5 minutes away and the drive to Cincinnati is about 20 minutes. Evendale is also about 5 minutes away from the Ronald Reagan Highway which crosses I-71 and I-275.

"Bethesda North Hospital" – a Level III Trauma Center – is a 15-minute drive away, with well-used emergency room facilities. "Jewish Hospital Kenwood" is located on Kenwood Road in Sycamore Township and features a state-of-the-art patient tower as well as a 24-hour emergency department. It also offers the region’s only adult Blood & Marrow Transplant Center.

Other Cincinnati area hospitals, such as The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, University Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Medical Center are located within a 25-minute drive.

Fifteen minutes to the east is the Kenwood Towne Centre. The Northgate Mall is approximately 25 minutes away.

Evendale has a community center with a full-time recreational director. There is a year-round arts and crafts program for adults. Winter time activities for youths include baton twirling, trampoline and a basketball league with teams beginning with third and fourth grade boys.
