The winding lanes with Georgian, Tudor and colonial style houses create an atmosphere of an old English village.

Free swimming lessons are given and swim teams are organized to compete in meets throughout the summer. The Mariemont Swim Club, consisting of a regular pool, one for swimming lengths and kiddie pool, is unique in that any resident of Mariemont is automatically a member by paying a nominal yearly fee. Soccer has also become very popular with teams for boys and girls. The Parish Center affords a wide selection of year-round activities, especially for youths.
