Fairfield Township has been experiencing a huge growth in the area with exploding population. The township is bordered by the City of Hamilton to the west, the City of Fairfield to the south, the City of Middletown to the north and West Chester and Liberty Townships to the east. New housing developments are keeping pace with growth in business development. One finds homes of many styles and price ranges in the region.

The Township has easy access to all the major interstates such as I-275, I-75, I-71, and I-74. Primary roads include St. Rts. 4, 129 (Butler County Regional Highway). Air travel to and from the Township uses either the smaller Butler County Regional Airport, the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport or the Dayton International Airport.

Ft. Hamilton Hospital, Mercy Health - Fairfield, and Middletown Regional Hospital are within a short drive. Mercy Health also services the community with The Heart Institute and Orthopedics, Sports Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy. Cincinnati Children’s Fairfield is located on Mack Road and provides pediatric care. TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital is located in nearby Hamilton. McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital (TriHealth) is located in Oxford. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is in nearby Liberty Township. Fairfield Township provides fire and EMS service for residents.

If you can’t meet your shopping needs in this booming suburb, you must be hard to please. Within a five-mile drive sits several shopping malls, one of the finest grocery mega stores in southwestern Ohio, and just about every specialty need you might have from antiques to tires. Bridgewater Falls, a lifestyle shopping center, offers many specialty shops and restaurants. The Regency Center has a Kohls and Wal-Mart Superstore. Jungle Jim’s International Market in nearby Fairfield is known for its amazing variety of food and drink – you can find just about anything from around the world there. Within a 15-20 minute drive south and you’ll find the Kenwood Towne Centre which is anchored by Nordstrom, Macy’s and Dillard’s along with hundreds of other national brand stores.

Fairfield Township is abundantly equipped with parts and playgrounds, including Rentschler Forest Preserve with 443 acres, Reserves Park and Joyce Park. These green spaces offer hiking, biking, geocaching, basketball, tennis and frisbee golf, among other enjoyable outdoor activities. Walden Ponds offers an18-hole golf course to the public. Residents have great access to areas along the Great Miami River for canoeing and boating. There are youth and adult baseball and softball teams available in Fairfield Township. The East Butler YMCA offers more recreation options. Just 20 minutes takes you downtown for professional sports, symphony and theaters.

For arts enthusiasts, Butler County offers many options. The Middletown Arts Center has live theater events. The Fairfield Community Arts Center and Oxford Community Arts Center host all kinds of performances throughout the year. The Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra and West Chester Symphony Orchestra offer free classical concerts.
