It is a 10-minute drive to downtown by way of Columbia Parkway (SR50) or Riverside Drive (SR52). Once near downtown, connections to I-71 and I-75 are easily accessed. Queen City Metro Bus service serves the area on a regular schedule with a bus ride time of approximately 20 minutes to downtown.
The following hospitals are located within a 15-minute drove of Tusculum: University of Cincinnati Hospital, The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Schmidt Memorial Playfield, Turkey Ridge Playfield and Alms Park are located in Tusculum and offer a variety of activities. California Golf Course/Nature Preserve are located nearby. Marinas along the Ohio River provide excellent facilities for boating enthusiasts. Also nearby is Lunken Playfield which offers tennis, archery, golf and baseball. The Lunken Airport serves private planes.

The Irish Heritage Center of Greater Cincinnati is located in Columbia-Tusculum and presents programs and services such as musicals, dance, plays produced by the Irish American Theater Company as well as other live productions.

The Carnegie Center of Columbia-Tusculum is a non-profit community center where residents gather for meetings and cultural events.
