Nestled among the trees in the rolling hills of southwestern Ohio, historic Oxford offers picturesque neighborhoods, an uptown shopping district loaded with character and a congenial mix of residents and students. The town offers abundant open space in both the city and nearby communities. Miami University, the seventh oldest state-assisted university in the nation and rated among the top national universities has its main campus in Oxford with 14,000 students. Today, the tree-lined streets and sprawling campus walkways are part of Oxford’s special appeal to residents, students and visitors.
