Golf Manor is 15 minutes from the huge Kenwood Towne Centre to the east. There are numerous shops in the village.

The village has a well organized playfield program to keep the youngsters active and occupied. There is a public pool open to residents at a modest fee. Avon Fields, an 18-hole golf course, is 10 minutes away.
