About Delhi


A majestic view of the Ohio River is the attraction from many streets in Delhi, particularly in the "Palisades" area.


Because of excellent access to the downtown area and to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Delhi has, in the past 25 years, developed into a thriving, bustling community. Hence, excellent shopping centers have also developed. Within its fresh, clean neighborhoods are pleasant homes of every size, design and price. Most homes offer carefree maintenance and planned conveniences. Newcomers are particularly drawn to Delhi by the accessibility of complete shopping and social activities and the many competitive sports programs.


Queen City Metro Bus service serves much of the Delhi area and several auto access routes to downtown make driving time 20 minutes, with approximately the same time to Interstates 74 and 75. At the foot of Delhi, the Anderson Ferry continues to operate from Ohio to Kentucky with excellent service to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and other destinations in Northern Kentucky.


Mercy Franciscan Hospital - Western Hills is located within 10 minutes of the area. Other major hospitals are approximately 30 minutes away.


Delhi Pike is the center of the shopping and restaurant area and is easily accessible from all areas of Delhi. There are several large strip centers and many smaller shops, providing complete shopping facilities. Western Hills Mall and the downtown department stores offer more shopping opportunities.


Delhi Township Park has facilities for all sports, plus a picnic area, a lodge, and playground section. There are very active Knothole and CYO sports organizations in the area offering baseball, football, basketball and soccer . Three private swim clubs and several fishing lakes are in the area. Western Hills Country Club (private) and Woodland Golf Course on the northern border of Green Township and the Delhi Par 3 Courses are all located in the area. Proximity to the Ohio River with its numerous marinas make boating a viable opportunity. US Bank Arena, Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium are within a 15-minute drive. Summer concerts are enjoyed at Delhi Township Park.
