Introduction

Golf Manor, as the name implies, was once surrounded by golf courses. Today, the wide vistas of beautifully tended greens and fairways still lend a serene parklike atmosphere to several areas.

Summary

There is a unique mixture of traditional homes in this well maintained community. Many of the traditional houses, graced by brick pillars, are in excellent condition, while the more contemporary one and two-family designs add a fresh new look to the area. Perhaps the only sign of age is the many streets named for the pioneer residents who once lived here. Newcomers, who are predominately young in years and spirit, are adding a new vitality to neighborhoods that offer many pleasures.

Transportation

Cincinnati buses afford easy access to downtown Cincinnati. I-75 is only 5 minutes from Golf Manor with good access to I-275, I-71 and Ronald Reagan Highway. Driving time to downtown is 25 minutes.

Hospitals

"Bethesda North Hospital" – a Level One Trauma Center – is a 15-minute drive away, with well-used emergency room facilities. "Jewish Hospital Kenwood" is also located within 15 minutes drive time and is located in Sycamore Township. This hospital features a state-of-the-art patient tower as well as a 24-hour emergency department. It also offers the region’s only adult Blood & Marrow Transplant Center.

Other Cincinnati area hospitals, such as The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, University Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Medical Center are located within a 25-minute drive.

Shopping

Golf Manor is 15 minutes from the huge Kenwood Towne Centre to the east. There are numerous shops in the village.

Recreation

Right around the corner from Golf Manor is the Cincinnati Gardens, site of hockey, basketball and indoor concerts. The village has a well organized playfield program to keep the youngsters active and occupied. There is a public pool open to residents at a modest fee. Avon Fields, an 18-hole golf course, is 10 minutes away.
