It is the region’s only adult Blood & Marrow Transplant Center. "Bethesda North Hospital", a Level One Trauma Center, is located in Montgomery and is a 10-minute drive away.

Other Cincinnati area hospitals, such as The Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Medical Center are located within a 15-minute drive. Many uptown groups of doctor’s offices are also within easy access. One of the most advanced medical facilities in the country for research is located within the (Cincinnati) University Hospital complex, located in nearby Avondale.


An area of approximately 2.5 square miles, Norwood is host to three large shopping centers and only minutes from others. Surrey Square Mall and Central Park Mall are located in the heart of downtown Norwood. Rookwood Pavilion and Rookwood Commons are located on the outskirts of Norwood.
