About Milford

The beauty of rolling hills that overlook the Little Miami River is one of the many prime attractions of this scenic village.

Located in one of Ohio's growing areas, Milford, a pleasant mixture of tradition and progress, offers a sense of "community." Milford has a variety of housing options. Continuing construction in the area provides elegant homes of the latest designs and amenities. There are also many attractive homes, rich in historical value, for those who enjoy the architecture of earlier eras. While the amenities of urban society are plentiful, the community's quiet personality is carefully preserved for a superior quality of life.

Queen City Metro bus service provides commuter service between Milford and downtown Cincinnati on a daily schedule except for Sunday. Milford is served by I-275 which provides freeway driving to all parts of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Driving time to Downtown Cincinnati is 25 minutes.

Mercy Hospital Anderson is 20 minutes away. Bethesda North in Montgomery is 10 minutes away. Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia is 25 minutes away. Cincinnati Hospitals also serve the Milford area.

There are various shops and services in the Milford area. Kenwood Towne Centre is 15 minutes away, Eastgate Mall/Biggs Place is a 10 minute drive, and Forest Fair Mall and Tri-County Mall are 20 minutes away just off I-275.

The village maintains three municipal parks which include lighted baseball diamonds. Activities for youth include community softball and baseball, Little League baseball, Knothole baseball, Pee Wee football, basketball and soccer programs. Miami Hills Swim Club is private, and offers tennis. Stonelick State Park is a 25 minute drive and has swimming and boating. Canoe enthusiasts from all over Southern Ohio find a haven in the Little Miami River and anglers report excellent game fishing. Many public and private golf courses throughout the area provide hours of pleasure for the avid golfer. Chapters of most service clubs and lodges can be found in the village.
