Blue Ash

Introduction

Blue Ash is alive with development. Condominiums, single family houses, and beautiful industrial parks are all part of what is happening in this carefully planned area just twelve miles from downtown Cincinnati.

Summary

Blue Ash offers its residents the area's most outstanding recreational services that include an 18-hole golf course with clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant, a recreation center with olympic-size pool, four lighted tennis courts, two baseball/soccer fields and a playground area featuring a large wooden play structure available for an amazingly low cost. For its age, Blue Ash probably has more young ideas than any other little city in the area. The availability of many contemporary new homes, combined with an ever-present possibility of rising values, makes it an ideal place to invest.

Transportation

Queen City Metro bus service connects Blue Ash with downtown Cincinnati from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is a 5 minute drive to Interstate 75 and I-275, less than that to I-71. The Ronald Reagan Highway is at the south edge of Blue Ash. Driving time to downtown Cincinnati is 20 minutes.

Hospitals

Bethesda North Hospital is just minutes from Blue Ash in Montgomery. Jewish Hospital is also nearby in Kenwood.

Shopping

Kenwood Towne Centre with about 100 stores of all sizes and varieties of products is located within 10 minutes of Blue Ash, and includes Macy's and Nordstrom as anchor stores. The Tri-County Shopping Center and Cincinnati Mills are about a 10 minute drive to the west. The Market Square in Montgomery is a unique shopping center with numerous stores and restaurants. The City of Blue Ash constructed a downtown area in 1985 and has a variety of shops and restaurants.

Recreation

The City of Blue Ash has a nationally ranked 18-hole public golf course within the city limits. There is also an 18-hole public golf course in nearby Sharon Woods. Six acres of beautiful wooded grounds have been donated to the city for additional recreational and playground area.
