Lebanon is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 42 and State Route 63, with immediate access to I-71 from an interchange with State Route 48. I-75 is just minutes away. Indiana & Ohio Railroad, a short line passenger train, services Lebanon. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is an hour away by car.
TriHealth Bethesda Arrow Springs is located near South Lebanon. The West Chester Hospital is located near I-75 in West Chester. Children’s Hospital Liberty Campus is also located off of I-75 in Liberty Township. Other major Cincinnati hospitals are located to the south within a 45-minute drive. Atrium Medical Center is located to the north off of I-75.
There are three shopping centers located around the city: Harts Plaza, Colony Square and Country Side Place. There are also many smaller retail and antiques stores in Lebanon’s downtown district. Be sure to stop by the Village Ice Cream Parlor for an old-fashioned treat.
Countryside YMCA, the Beach Waterpark, Ft. Ancient State Park, Caesar’s Creek State Park and Paramount Kings Island Amusement Park offer recreational facilities and fun. Professional baseball and football, and the Cincinnati Symphony, Opera and Ballet are within a 30 minute drive. The city hosts four events annually: Country Applefest, Horse-Drawn Carriage Parade (Christmas time), the Lebanon Blues Festival and the Lebanon Country Music Festival. Lebanon has over 350 acres of park spaces with disc golf course, dog park area, walking paths, hiking trails, playgrounds, athletic fields, tennis and basketball courts as well as picnic areas. The city offers several youth sports organizations. The Lebanon Symphony Orchestra has concerts throughout the year. The Lebanon Theatre Company has its productions in a 108-seat theater in downtown Lebanon.
