The village is located along the Warren/Clinton County line. It is Clinton County’s second largest village. Fertile and flat could be the nickname for the farmland that surrounds the village, with livestock and farming the primary occupations. The historic downtown houses the shopping, restaurants and activities that are the destination for Clinton’s southwestern residents. An active Chamber of Commerce sponsors community events throughout the year including an annual Fourth of July celebration.
